Bio: Nearly a decade ago, I experienced a transformative “shame breakthrough” in therapy that ignited my passion for advancing shame education. Since that pivotal moment, I have earned certification as a Shame Healing Practitioner from the Center for Healing Shame in Berkeley. Additionally, I am an IFS-informed coach, having received training from the Internal Family Systems Counselling Association. My skillset also encompasses various relational modalities, including Authentic Relating and Circling. In 2021, I authored “Discomfortable: What Is Shame and How Can We Break Its Hold?” published by North Atlantic Books, which builds upon the insights shared in my podcast of the same name.
Ask me about:
- All things related to shame, guilt, humiliation, and embarrassment
- Childhood trauma and CPTSD
- Issues with self-esteem and self-compassion
- IFS and parts work
- Authentic Relating and Circling
- Relational issues
- Shadow work
